We use iMacros as visual scripting tool for web scraping. Have a look at it!

I tried openkapow and I am very impressed by it’s power. Instead of being a macro recorder, it is a complete visual programming environment with included debugger and free deployment of for example RSS feeds scraped of websites. The power of openkapow is that it is built on years of development which have created a multitude of state-of-the-art features (executing javascript, visual development, debugging etc) and now this has been combined with a one click deployment method. Together this is a unique package that has much more potential for developers that want to build mashups or their own APIs using web scraping than any other software out there. And it is free!
