Ever find yourself frantically searching for a web page you viewed last week but didn’t bother bookmarking?

scratch·list is your answer - a “scratchpad” for bookmarks. It’s simple - no accounts or passwords required. You get a unique bookmarklet to add to your browser’s bookmarks toolbar. When you’re visiting a web page you might like to save (but don’t feel like committing to a bookmark), click the bookmarklet to add it to your scratch·list.

Of course, you can tag links. But they’ve taken it a step further - set up rules to automatically tag links that match a search string you provide. Like to browse eBay auctions? Set up a rule to tag all ebay.com links with “eBay”. Efficient, huh?

You can view your scratch·list whenever you want - just click the bookmarklet to get there. To help you keep your bookmarks tidy, they’ll automatically delete them after 30 days (or however long you want - you decide). If you just need more time, you can easily give a link a few more days. If you want to save it for the long haul, one click let’s you post the link to del.icio.us, Simpy, and more of your favorite social bookmarking sites.
